    Why it matters

Attending Intermach on 2027-07-13 to 2027-07-16 in Joinville lets buyers and specifiers benchmark suppliers, see live demonstrations, and compress months of vendor meetings into one focused trade visit — worthwhile when your category roadmap aligns with the official exhibitor profile.

    Industry trends

Key trends shaping this market and its wider industry.

    01

    Digital buyer journeys

Industrial buyers now research exhibitors, machine specifications and meeting slots online weeks before the show floor opens, shifting the earliest sales conversation into digital channels.

    02

    Sustainability in procurement

Purchasing teams increasingly score suppliers on energy consumption, recyclable materials and documented carbon reporting when awarding machinery and tooling contracts.

    03

    Automation and labour efficiency

Rising labour costs and skills shortages in the metalworking sector are pushing buyers to automate cutting, forming and handling steps that were previously manual.

    04

    Regional supply-chain resilience

Manufacturers are reducing single-source exposure by adding regional machine builders and component suppliers that can service equipment locally.

    05

    Hybrid engagement models

Live machine demonstrations still close orders, but post-show webinars and digital catalogues now extend the buying window well beyond the four show days.

    6

Request B2B meetings with target exhibitors — Send your technical specification or RFQ in advance and confirm stand numbers and meeting times before you fly.

    7

Plan local transport to the venue — Pre-load Moovit bus routes to Complexo Expoville or plan a taxi or ride-hail for the 1-3 km hotel-to-venue trip.

    8

Arrange Brazilian real (BRL) spending money — A single one-way Joinville bus ticket costs about BRL 5.50 (roughly USD 1.10); carry some cash for small purchases.

    9

Pack for Joinville in July — Expect about 22°C days and 13°C nights with roughly 15 rainy days in the month: layers, a light rain jacket, umbrella and business attire.

    10

Prepare meeting materials — Bring printed specs, RFQs, business cards and a laptop or tablet for on-stand technical discussions and instant quotations.

    11

Confirm venue access and parking details — Expoville offers customer parking, air conditioning and wheelchair access, with posted venue hours of 09:00-18:00.
