    Glamour and Luxury

Cannes is synonymous with the French Riviera's glamour, and the Yachting Festival is a key social event on the Côte d'Azur. Dress code is smart-casual to formal; many attendees wear yachting-inspired attire.

    French Language and Etiquette

While English is widely spoken in tourist areas, learning a few French phrases (bonjour, merci, s'il vous plaît) is appreciated. Politeness and formal greetings are customary.

    Culinary Excellence

Cannes boasts numerous Michelin-starred and high-end restaurants. The festival coincides with the tail end of the summer season, so reservations are highly recommended.

    Local Festivals and Events

September is a vibrant month; besides the Yachting Festival, the city may host other cultural events. The festival itself is a major draw, attracting an international yachting community.

    Plan your trip

    Planning

Best day to visit: Wednesday 9 or Thursday 10 September 2026

Recommendation, not an official festival designation. Multiple independent visitor guides consistently describe the opening day (Tuesday) as the most crowded with press, industry buyers, and exhibitors still adjusting displays, and the weekend as the busiest for public attendance, while the Wednesday/Thursday midweek window is repeatedly described as calmer, with more relaxed, rested exhibitor staff available for real conversations.

    T-90

Confirm passport/visa validity for France (Schengen) if travelling internationally — General Schengen travel-planning reminder, not an official festival requirement.

    T-60

Book flights into Nice Côte d'Azur (NCE) and reserve a hotel via the official Bnetwork accommodation partner or independently — Cannes hotel rates rise sharply during show week; the official accommodation partner is Bnetwork (yachting@bnetwork.com).

    T-30

Buy e-tickets online in advance — Tickets are sold online only, no box office at the entrances. General Public 1-day from €40, VIP from €220, Platinum 6-day from €1,640.

    T-21

Shortlist target exhibitors, boats and brands using the official. Exhibitors List and List of Boats — Helps plan an efficient route across Vieux Port and Port Canto.

    T-14

Request sea-trial or on-board appointments directly with exhibitors/brokers — Boat access and sea trials are at exhibitor discretion; pre-booking improves your odds.

    T-10

Plan a Vieux Port / Port Canto route and check the sea-shuttle schedule — Free sea shuttles run roughly every 15 minutes from 10am; allow travel time between the two ports.

    T-7

Pack boat shoes / soft-soled non-marking footwear and a small bag — Hard soles or bare feet are turned away on pontoons; bags/suitcases larger than about 40x30cm are not permitted onsite.

    T-2

Save your e-ticket QR code and confirm show hours for each day of your visit — Hours vary by day; Friday runs until 10pm, Sunday closes at 6pm.

    QUESTION 1 OF 8

Does your business or buying interest align with yachts, superyachts, or high-end marine equipment/services?

    Decision matrix

Compare participation options side by side to choose the best fit for your objectives.

    visit

You're an active buyer, broker, or industry professional who wants to compare multiple yachts in the water and meet builders/brokers face-to-face

    Best for

High-net-worth buyers, brokers, and yachting professionals wanting hands-on access to roughly 700 in-water boats and direct contact with builders/brokers

    Min. budget

    $600.00

    Timeline

2–6 weeks for flights, hotel, and e-tickets; book earlier for VIP/Platinum tiers as demand rises closer to September

    Risks

Hotel rates spike sharply during show week

Access to specific boats is at exhibitor discretion and often needs a pre-booked appointment

VIP/Platinum passes and preferred hotel rooms can sell out closer to the date

    exhibit

Your product targets active yacht buyers/brokers and you can commit meaningful budget plus 3+ months of lead time for stand, freight, and staffing

    Best for

Yacht builders, brokers, and marine equipment/technology suppliers targeting HNW buyers and international distributors

    Min. budget

    $20,000.00

    Timeline

Typically 90+ days for stand contract, design approval, freight, and staff visas

    Risks

Official 2026 stand pricing is not yet published; third-party estimates carry uncertainty

In-water berth and freight logistics require significant lead time

High demand for premium port-side space can limit stand-location choice if booked late

    skip

Your buyer base, product category, budget, or timeline don't line up with a high-net-worth, in-water yacht show

    Best for

Businesses without yachting-sector buyers or sellers, or with very limited budget or lead time

    Min. budget

    Not yet confirmed

    Timeline

    Not applicable

    Risks

Opportunity cost of attending an event with unclear buyer/product fit

Cannes costs (hotel, travel) run high during show week for limited networking value if the audience doesn't match your market
