All levels of the NEC are accessible to wheelchair users via lifts, with wheelchair-friendly toilet facilities. The Piazza and Atrium main entrances have automatic doors. Accessible toilets are available across the venue. Changing Places facilities are available by Hall 20 (Atrium side) and Hall 2 (Piazza side), both accessible with a RADAR key. Wheelchairs are available to hire for £5, and mobility scooters for £20 (pre-booking recommended, held until 11:00 on the day). Blue Badge parking is available. Assistance dogs are welcome
Prayer rooms
The NEC has a Multi-Faith Prayer Room available for prayer, reflection or meditation, located on the Piazza (Halls 1-5) next to the chaplaincy office. It has a washing facility (wudu area), prayer mats, holy books, and other resources for prayer. The NEC Group also offers an Interfaith Chaplaincy facility to all staff, business partners and visitors
Cloakroom
Cloakrooms can be found adjacent to each hall. Items are charged at £2 per coat and £3 per bag. Cloakrooms open 30 minutes prior to an event opening and close when the event closes. Overnight storage is not possible. Lost property is handled at the Security Office in the Piazza between Subway and Hall 1 (0121 767 3883)

The NEC has cloakrooms adjacent to each hall (charged at £3 per bag). Note that large bags (anything larger than A4 size) are not permitted inside and may need to be stored in paid cloakrooms. A Stasher luggage storage point is available approximately an 8-minute walk from NEC Birmingham, with storage from £1.49 per bag per day

The NEC is home to one of Europe's largest EV charging hubs, the Gigahub (operated by bp pulse), with 16 ultra-fast 300kW DC chargers (two designated accessible bays) and 150 fast 7kW AC chargers, enabling 180 EVs to charge simultaneously. A Type 2 cable is required for the 7kW chargers. Chargers are accessible via the bp pulse app. NEC Standard Parking rates apply. There are also 22 slow charging points in various car parks (Swarco E Connect App required)

A free shuttle bus service operates between all car parks and the venue during exhibition open days. These usually start running one hour before the event and stop one hour after the event. Service times and alternative walking routes are displayed at all bus shelters near the car parks
