Organisers reported a record edition surpassing 200,000 visitors from 165 nationalities, with more than 15,000 startups, 1,155 speakers and over 4,500 exhibitors (61% international). The new three-floor Hall 7 offered 70,000 sqm, a 30% increase on 2025. VivaTech 2025 — 9th Edition Recap (11–14 June 2025, Paris Expo Porte de Versailles)

The 9th edition of Viva Technology was a record-setting event, welcoming 180,000 visitors — a 10% increase over 2024 — and cementing its position as Europe's largest startup and tech event. The event hosted 14,000 startups across more than 30 industries, attracted 3,600 investors and capital funds (including Accel, KKR, Lightspeed, Sequoia Capital, Eurazeo and GV), and facilitated 640,000 business connections. More than 4,000 exhibitors participated, with a 40% increase in AI-focused exhibitors.

Key highlights:

AI dominance: Artificial intelligence took center stage with a 40% increase in AI-focused exhibitors. Major announcements included the creation of Mistral Compute, a sovereign AI infrastructure designed for Europe by NVIDIA and Mistral AI, and NVIDIA's first GTC Paris conference held at VivaTech.
Global participation: 171 nationalities were represented, with exhibitors from over 120 countries and more than 50 national pavilions — up 20% from 2024. Canada served as Country of the Year, bringing a delegation of over 170 companies and organizations.
Speakers: More than 450 leading speakers took the stage, including Jensen Huang (Founder & CEO, NVIDIA), Arthur Mensch (CEO, Mistral AI), Emmanuel Macron (President of France), Joe Tsai (Alibaba), Yann LeCun (Meta), Sarah Friar (OpenAI) and Vanessa Wyche (Acting Associate Administrator, NASA).
Innovation showcase: Over 300 announcements and launches took place, with startups such as Unitree, Buddyo, Vrai AI and Next featured on the AI Avenue sponsored by Salesforce.
Digital reach: 3.6 million social interactions (+68% vs 2024) and 7 million viewers on the VivaTech News live channel (+10% vs 2024).

Organisers confirmed the dates immediately after the record-breaking 10th edition, which surpassed 200,000 visitors. The event is expected to build on the momentum of 2026, continuing its focus on AI deployment, digital sovereignty, deeptech and European technological competitiveness. NVIDIA's GTC Paris programme, which debuted at VivaTech 2025, is confirmed to return in 2027, concentrating European sovereign AI and AI factory discussions inside the show.
