SPS 2025 affirmed its position as the leading international trade fair for industrial automation, with 1,175 exhibitors and approximately 56,000 visitors gathering across 122,000 sqm in Nuremberg. The event demonstrated strong momentum with a 9% visitor increase over 2024, despite challenging economic conditions in the German industrial sector. Industrial AI emerged as the central focus topic, reflecting the industry's shift toward intelligent, software-driven automation solutions. The international exhibitor proportion reached 44%, surpassing the previous year's 40%, with strong representation from China, Italy, Switzerland, and other key automation markets. Visitor satisfaction remained exceptionally high at 98%, with 93% indicating they would attend again and 95% willing to recommend the event. The fair successfully bridged the gap between traditional automation hardware manufacturers and emerging AI/software providers, positioning itself as the essential annual meeting point for the global automation community.
