Sofia International Film Festival 2027
The Sofia International Film Festival is Bulgaria's biggest competitive film festival, accredited by FIAPF and part of the FIPRESCI calendar. It showcases contemporary world cinema, with films by established and emerging directors, plus special programmes and retrospectives. The festival includes the Sofia Meetings co-production market and additional screenings in Plovdiv, Burgas, and Varna. It is supported by the Creative Europe MEDIA Programme, Sofia Municipality, and the Bulgarian National Film Center.
