    Weather

Riyadh in late August and early September is extremely hot. Average high temperatures range from 41–44°C (106–111°F), with lows around 26–29°C (79–84°F). Humidity is low. All venues and transport are air‑conditioned. Dress in light, breathable fabrics, and stay hydrated.

    Cultural notes

Useful information to help you have a smooth and respectful visit.

    Business Etiquette in Saudi Arabia

Business meetings in Saudi Arabia are formal and relationship‑driven. Greet with a handshake and maintain direct eye contact. Dress conservatively: men should wear suits, women should dress modestly covering arms and legs; a headscarf is optional but respectful. Punctuality is appreciated, though meetings may start with informal conversation. Decision‑making can be hierarchical; engage senior stakeholders. The work week is Sunday–Thursday; Friday–Saturday is the weekend. If coffee or tea is offered, accepting it is considered polite. Avoid scheduling meetings during prayer times (five times daily) or during Ramadan

    Local Customs and Practical Tips

Respect local customs: alcohol is prohibited, and public displays of affection are not permitted. The official currency is the Saudi Riyal (SAR), pegged at approximately 3.75 SAR to 1 USD. Credit cards are widely accepted; cash is useful for smaller vendors. Tipping is appreciated (10‑15% in restaurants). English is widely spoken in business circles, but learning a few Arabic greetings (e.g., 'As‑salamu alaykum') is well received. The Riyadh Metro and ride‑hailing apps (Uber, Careem) are convenient for getting around

    Should you go?

Based on your answers, we’ve calculated which participation option best fits your goals and constraints. Here’s our recommendation:

    QUESTION 1 OF 7

What is your primary role in the logistics / supply chain industry?

    Decision matrix

Compare participation options side by side to choose the best fit for your objectives.

    visit

You want to explore the market, compare suppliers, or attend educational sessions without the expense of a booth.

    Best for

Professionals seeking to learn, network, and source products without exhibiting. Ideal for supply chain managers, warehouse operators, consultants, and students.

    Timeline

Register online up to the event; no deadline, but early registration recommended.

    Risks

Limited one-on-one time with exhibitors during peak hours.

May miss out on exclusive exhibitor-only networking events.

    exhibit

You have a clear sales pipeline, a product or service that fits the expo’s themes, and a budget that allows for booth and promotional activities. The 2025 edition saw 400+ exhibitors and multiple MoUs signed – strong ROI potential.

    Best for

Solution providers, technology vendors, logistics service companies, and brands looking to generate leads, launch products, and build visibility in the Saudi market.

Requires dedicated staff and follow-up to convert leads.

Competition for attention among 400+ exhibitors.

    Timeline

    No commitment needed.

    Risks

Missing out on industry trends and networking opportunities.
