A bigger and stronger platform
The 42nd Motek, together with the 17th Bondexpo, concluded successfully as a key industry gathering for production and assembly automation. 409 exhibitors from 19 countries (26% international) presented forward-looking innovations over four trade fair days and welcomed 18,948 trade visitors. Visitors arrived with clear objectives: reduce unit costs, increase productivity, lower consumption, and optimise performance. Project manager Rainer Bachert noted that efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainability were the dominant themes. The event demonstrated that AI-based processes are increasingly determining production across many areas, supporting both processes and workers, and establishing a firm place in manufacturing companies. The trade fair duo is recognised as the ideal business platform because it supports all participants in the modern design of manufacturing processes – pragmatic and practice-oriented, covering solutions from low-cost to high-end automation. The thematic spectrum clearly follows the industrial manufacturing process – from raw part and component handling, through untangling, sorting, and feeding, to assembly, screwing, joining, and marking, right through to removal and packaging
