Beyond Africa, Kenya has extended visa-free access to 26 countries outside the continent for stays up to 90 days, including Barbados, Belize, Brunei, Cyprus, Fiji, Grenada, Jamaica, Malaysia, Maldives, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, San Marino, Singapore, Trinidad and Tobago, and Tuvalu. In place of a carnet, Kenya handles temporary importation through a customs bond guarantee provided for under the East African Community Customs Management Act. Exhibitors and businesses must work through Kenya's Temporary Import Bond (TIB) system, which requires a licensed clearing agent, an Import Declaration Form, and a customs bond guarantee. Goods for exhibition and return in an unaltered state need to be entered in a C500 document before the goods enter the country. Such items must be re-exported or certified destroyed by a customs certification officer after use.

Book flights to Nairobi (NBO) arriving by 12 October 2026 to allow time for transfer and registration. The venue is 18–25 km from the airport with a 30–45 minute drive via the Nairobi Expressway. Consider travel insurance and confirm visa requirements in advance.

All visitors including infants and children who intend to travel to Kenya must have an approved Electronic Travel Authorisation (eTA) before the start of their journey, unless they are nationals of an exempt country. The eTA replaced the traditional visa system effective January 2024. For business travellers, an invitation letter from the host company and a copy of the company registration are required.
