The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) is China's carnet-issuing and guaranteeing body; hand-carried carnet goods must be registered with a CCPIT/CCOIC office within three days of entry, and freighted carnet goods require pre-declaration by a Chinese customs broker.
