    Why it matters

maintenance Munich 2026 is taking place at a time when industrial maintenance is facing profound change. The European MRO market is growing from USD 134.72 billion (2026) to USD 146.3 billion (2031), driven by Industry 4.0, IoT and predictive maintenance. At the same time, Germany is struggling with 45,000 unfilled maintenance positions a problem that makes automation and AI-powered solutions urgently needed. The trade fair offers a compact platform to address precisely these challenges: it brings together decision-makers from southern German industry with providers of the latest technologies. With the expansion to two halls and over 120 exhibitors already registered (including 3M, SAP, Emerson), the event underlines its growing importance as a regional meeting point for the maintenance industry. Free entry is a further incentive for visitors to find out about the latest solutions on site and make valuable contacts

    Punctuality is the Top Priority

    Business Etiquette & Communication

German business communication values punctuality, structured agendas, technical precision, and direct factual discussions.

    Greetings and salutations

A firm handshake with direct eye contact is standard. When saluting, use the correct title (Mr./Ms.) followed by the last name. A few words in German such as “Please”, “Thank you” or “Servus” are very much appreciated.

    Netzwerken in der bayerischen Gastfreundschaft

After a long day at the trade fair, Munich offers numerous breweries and beer gardens the ideal place to continue networking in a relaxed atmosphere. Bavarian hospitality is legendary, and many deals are sealed over a pint of beer or a pretzel.
