Logistik & Transport 2025: Record Attendance and Fourth Consecutive Year of Growth

The 2025 edition of Logistik & Transport, held 4–5 November at Svenska Mässan in Gothenburg, set a new visitor record with 4,530 attendees (up from 4,003 in 2024). Over 135 exhibitors participated, and despite an expanded exhibition area, the floor was fully booked with a waiting list. The event grew for the fourth year in a row, with increased visitors, exhibitors, and conference delegates. A significant number of visitors came from Nordic neighbouring countries, including a bus with around 40 logistics managers from the Norwegian logistics association LOGMA.

The conference programme, delivered in collaboration with logistics profile Matthias Kettelhoit, featured leading companies such as PostNord TPL, Cellbes, DSV, BEST, Geely Europe Innovation & Collaboration AB, HAVD Group, and Apoteket AB across eight industry themes. The Open Stage drew large audiences, with one of the most noted sessions being a conversation between Hasit Thankey, Head of Defence Enablement and Logistics at NATO, and Stefan Karlöf, editor-in-chief of Supply Chain Effect, on logistics as a central part of modern security policy.

Exhibitors showcased the latest solutions in automation and advanced robotics based on AI and machine learning. The full logistics chain was represented, with new transport companies including Bring, DSV, Sandahls, and PostNord TPL joining the exhibitor roster.

Logistik & Transport has established itself as the Nordic region's leading trade fair and conference for logistics and transport solutions, growing for four consecutive years in visitors, exhibitors, and conference delegates. Visitor numbers rose from 3,487 in 2023 to 4,530 in 2025, while exhibitor participation increased from 117 to over 135. The event consistently sells out its exhibition floor, with waiting lists in both 2024 and 2025, reflecting strong industry demand. Rail Strengthens Its Role in the Nordic Logistics Chain

At the Port of Gothenburg, rail volumes rose 2% to 268,000 TEU in the first half of 2026, and more than 60% of containers handled are transported by rail to or from inland destinations, putting rail traffic on course for another record year. APM Terminals Gothenburg reports cargo continues to shift from road to rail despite lower diesel prices, indicating that robustness and climate efficiency are important factors for Swedish cargo owners. DHL plans to grow its parcel locker network from around 550 to up to 5,000 locations, resulting in up to 7,000 out-of-home delivery points. Swedish Logistics Real Estate Enters Demand-Led Phase

After three consecutive years of record construction, 2025 was the point at which supply and demand moved back into balance in the Swedish logistics market. Completions fell to their lowest level since 2016, vacancy stopped rising, and prime yields turned down for the first time since peaking in late 2023. At the end of Q1 2026, the market is shifting from rapid expansion toward a more deliberate, demand-led phase of growth. H1 2026 completions totalled nearly 181,000 sqm, with approximately 107,000 sqm delivered in Q2, representing a 13% year-over-year increase.
