IMLAB 2026

The edition held at the Algiers exhibition grounds from 21 to 24 October 2026. The official domain for registration, hall details and exhibitor information is imlab.dz; use it to confirm opening hours and badge rules before travelling.

SAFEX / Palais des Expositions

Algiers' main exhibition complex at Pins Maritimes on the eastern side of the city, in the Mohammadia area. It is the venue district referenced in hotel and transport planning for this edition, and the place to route taxis to rather than the city centre.

DZD (Algerian dinar)

The host currency for Algiers. On-site spending such as taxi fares, parking and catering is quoted in dinars, and card acceptance is uneven, so carry a cash float in small notes alongside a backup card.

ALG (Houari Boumediene Airport)

The IATA code for Algiers' international airport on the Dar El Beida side of the city. It is the arrival point for most international visitors and is closer to the exhibition grounds than the city centre is.

Dar El Beida

The airport district east of central Algiers. Hotels here shorten transfers to both ALG and the Pins Maritimes exhibition grounds, which makes them practical for build-up days and early flights home.

The credential that admits you to the halls. Confirm on imlab.dz whether the badge is issued online in advance or printed at the SAFEX entrance, and carry photo ID matching the registration name.

Exhibitor directory entry

The company profile, stand number and product keywords published in the show guide and online listing. Submitting it before the deadline matters because buyers often plan their route from the directory rather than from the hall floor.

Build-up (set-up) period

The days before the opening when stands are constructed and freight is delivered to the halls. Access to the site during build-up is controlled, so exhibitors need organiser clearance and a booked delivery slot.

Invitation letter

An organiser-issued document confirming your participation or visit, used to support an Algerian visa application. Request it early, since consular processing runs on its own timetable and cannot be accelerated on the show floor.

Professional visitor

A trade attendee registering with a company affiliation rather than as a member of the public. Expect to show a business card or company details at registration, and note that trade-only rules can restrict entry for accompanying family.

Metro Line 1 and El Harrach Centre

The backbone of central Algiers public transport, running to El Harrach Centre on the eastern side. It is the usual combination with a short taxi to reach the Pins Maritimes grounds without sitting in corniche traffic.
