recap html: <h2>Fine Food Australia 2025 Recap</h2><p>Fine Food Australia 2025 has officially wrapped after its return to the harbour city this year – and what a show it was. Taking over the entirety of the ICC's two levels of show halls, the 2025 edition of Fine Food Australia was a feast for all of the senses, bringing together the best of the country's food industry as well as a host of international exhibitors, speakers, and products.</p><p>More than 21,000 visitors descended upon the event, and once they were through the doors, had the opportunity to engage with 926 exhibitors who represented almost every facet of the food industry. The show floor was packed across the four days, and in addition to the business, networking, and conversations that took place, visitors had the opportunity to witness the best of industry via the 115 speakers who hosted 70 presentations across 4 stages, and 60 competitors who duked it out during 4 major competitions.</p><p>To make it easier for people to make the most of the show, this year we launched the new Fine Food Australia App, a planner-style app that gave visitors the power to schedule meetings, navigate the show, and tailor their experience based on their interests. Within this, the Smart Networking Tools enabled users to request 1:1 meetings between buyers and suppliers, designed to make it easy for people to forge meaningful business connections, which is our whole reason for being!</p><p>There were multiple other firsts and great industry happenings to keep people coming back over the four days including the brand-new Hospitality Hub, a dedicated networking space where exhibitors and attendees could step away from the show floor and dive into real business conversations. Other conversations took place on stage, with some of Sydney's biggest names in hospitality sharing insights and opinions into a diverse range of topics.</p>

ata carnet notes: Australia is a signatory to the ATA Carnet convention and the Australian Border Force accepts ATA Carnets for temporary importation of commercial samples, professional equipment, and goods for display or use at events, fairs and exhibitions such as Fine Food Australia. Carnets are valid for 12 months from issue, must be obtained before goods are imported, and goods must be exported before the carnet expires; carnets cannot be used for goods intended for sale, and holders must present the carnet along with a Bill of Lading/Air Waybill and passport at the port of entry/exit. In Australia the National Guaranteeing Organisation issuing/guaranteeing carnets has historically been the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry network (formerly via VECCI); carnets must be obtained from a World Chambers Federation member Chamber of Commerce in the exhibitor's home country.

free nationalities notes: Australia does not have blanket visa-free entry for any nationality; all foreign nationals (except New Zealand passport holders travelling on a Resident Return status) require a valid visa or electronic travel authority before arrival, ranging from the free eVisitor and low-cost ETA for eligible passport holders to a full Visitor visa (subclass 600) Business Visitor stream application for others. Fine Food Australia's own FAQ confirms all international visitors need to apply for a business visa themselves.
weather notes: August is late winter in Melbourne. Daytime highs 13–15°C, overnight lows 6–7°C. Average rainfall ~50–60 mm across 10–14 days; pack layers, waterproof jacket, and comfortable closed-toe shoes. Melbourne weather is famously variable — be prepared for sun, rain, and cold in a single day.

exhibitor
lead capture
notes: Included free with every stand package; no extra cost. Exhibitors download the 'Fine Food AU' app (Google Play/Apple App Store) or use the Brella web app, log in with a unique invitation link/join code, and scan a visitor's badge QR code to auto-capture their profile as a 'Prospect'. Captured data includes name, email, phone, company, job title, region, scanning stand member, notes, and scan timestamp. The Stand Coordinator gets separate App Portal access to view full lead details, export all captured leads as a CSV, and monitor engagement/meeting metrics; mobile app users see only a limited preview. All leads scanned by staff under one company are collated into a single exportable list. Access instructions: https://finefoodaustralia.com.au/about-the-show/exhibitor-app-instructions/
compliance notes: Visitors must register and agree to the organiser's privacy policy, which discloses that exhibitors/sponsors scanning a visitor's badge onsite may use the registration details as described in that policy, and that the visitor's data may be shared with the specific exhibitor who performed the scan for follow-up purposes.
recommended followup sla: Contact captured leads within 24–48 hours of each show day, prioritizing hot/high-intent leads within 24 hours, with full follow-up completed within 5 business days of the show close.
