The 2025 SciX Conference, the 52nd annual meeting of FACSS, was held October 5–10 at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington, Kentucky. The event brought together approximately 835 scientists from around the globe for a week of technical sessions, short courses, and networking . The exhibit hall featured 50+ exhibitors showcasing the latest instrumentation and supplies . Keynote speaker Michael Gold of Redwire delivered a talk on 'Unveiling the Unknown: The Pursuit to Understand UAPs'- . Lingyan Shi of UC San Diego received the Emerging Leader in Molecular Spectroscopy Award and presented on multimodal nanoscopy . The conference also featured the Clara Craver Award ceremony, student poster contests, and numerous networking events including an exhibitor-hosted happy hour. Preparations are already underway for SciX 2026, to be held October 4–9 in Sparks, Nevada.
