Electra Mining Africa 2024 was the biggest show in the event's 52-year history, bringing the industry to life across six halls and four outdoor zones. With 950 exhibitors, nearly 40,000 visitors from 58 countries, and 40,000m² of exhibition space, the show delivered five unforgettable days of discovery, innovation, and meaningful connections.

The show floor was packed with live equipment demonstrations, daily themed showcases, and thousands of new products and ground-breaking machinery. Visitors were able to see products in action, speak to technical experts, and compare brands side-by-side. The event also featured the New Products and Innovation Awards, which attracted entries from local and international manufacturers, and the inaugural Local Southern African Manufacturing Expo, highlighting regional capabilities.

Key highlights included a 27% increase in visitor attendance compared to 2022, the launch of a new exhibitor training programme, and a visit from the Deputy Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources, who praised the show's growth and innovation. Organisers reported excellent feedback from exhibitors, with many meeting their objectives for brand awareness and sales lead generation.
