Schengen short-stay rules apply for Italy. Nationals of visa-waiver countries (e.g. US, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Brazil) can attend Cosmopack 2027 for business for up to 90 days in any 180-day period without a visa, but will need ETIAS pre-travel authorisation once the EU system goes live. Nationals of non-waiver countries (e.g. India, China, Turkey, Nigeria, South Africa) need a Schengen Type C short-stay visa (EUR 90 adult fee, typically 15 calendar days processing, apply up to 6 months and at least 3 weeks ahead) and should carry an invitation letter from the organiser or employer plus proof of accommodation, insurance and funds. ATA Carnets are accepted for temporary import of exhibition goods and samples.
