    Impact

    A bigger and stronger platform

CES 2026 was the largest post-pandemic edition, drawing 148,392 attendees (+4% YoY) and 4,100+ exhibitors across 2.6M+ net square feet of exhibit space. The show marked a definitive shift from theoretical AI to 'Physical AI' — embodied intelligence in robotics, autonomous systems, and real-world applications. Interest in AI surged to 39,929 attendees (+22% YoY), while robotics engagement reached 19,605 attendees (+26% YoY). 307 Fortune 500 companies were represented, alongside 7,037 media, 2,162 investors, and 189 global government leaders. The conference programme featured 400+ sessions with 1,400+ speakers. CES 2026 reaffirmed its position as the world's most powerful tech event — the place where global innovators launch products, forge partnerships, and define the next decade of economic growth and competitiveness.

    Audience quality

    High-value decision-makers

CES 2026 drew a high-calibre audience: 52% of attendees were senior-level executives, including C-suite leaders and decision-makers. Over 60% of Fortune 500 companies were represented. International participation reached 55,841 attendees from 141 countries — 37.6% of total attendance. The show attracted 7,037 media and content creators, 2,162 investors scouting Eureka Park startups, and 189 global government leaders and policymakers. This concentration of senior decision-makers, global buyers, and media makes CES the premier annual gathering for industry leaders looking to connect, collaborate, and do business.

    Exhibitor outcomes

    Real business growth

CES 2026 delivered measurable business outcomes for exhibitors. The show's independently audited metrics — 148,392 qualified attendees, 55,841 international buyers, and 2,162 active investors — provide a high-quality lead-generation environment. With 307 Fortune 500 companies represented, exhibitors gained access to the world's most influential corporate buyers. The 7,037 media attendees generated 37,000+ news stories, amplifying exhibitor brand visibility globally. The 400+ conference sessions with 1,400+ speakers created extensive thought-leadership and networking opportunities. Independent third-party auditing (exceeding UFI standards) gives exhibitors confidence in the accuracy of attendance and demographic data for ROI analysis. Industry reports indicate that leading exhibitors achieved strong pipeline generation, with one SaaS startup reporting $500K in pipeline from a $28K exhibit investment, and French Tech startups averaging ~120 useful contacts per exhibitor, of which 40–50 were considered truly decisive.

    Cultural notes

Useful information to help you have a smooth and respectful visit.

    Tipping Culture

Tipping is customary in the U.S. and expected in Las Vegas. Restaurant servers: 15–20% of the bill. Bartenders: $1–2 per drink. Hotel bellhops: $2–5 for luggage assistance. Airport baggage handlers: ~$1 per bag. Taxi/rideshare drivers: 10–15% of fare or round up

    Business Etiquette

Trade show interactions in Las Vegas are efficient and solution-focused. Be concise, polite, and avoid excessive small talk. Respect visitors' time — they are there to see products, not long introductions. Avoid slang and speak clearly, especially with international attendees

    Casino & Resort Etiquette

If gambling, tipping dealers is common (place a chip in front of your wager). Cocktail waitresses provide free drinks to players — tip at least $1 per drink to keep them coming-. Dress codes vary by venue; most casinos are casual but some nightclubs and fine dining require smart attire

CES 2027 registration opens in September. A Letter of Invitation is required for visa applications and will only be issued after registration is complete and approved. Plan your trip

    Planning

Best day to visit: Wednesday, January 6

Opening day typically features the most high-profile keynotes, major product announcements, and the highest energy on the show floor. It's the best day to experience the full scope of CES and network with a maximum number of attendees

    T-180 (Early Summer)

Define event objectives, target audiences, key messaging, and internal lead assignment — Clarify what success looks like — number of leads, media mentions, partnerships. Align team on messaging before any booth or travel decisions are made

T-120 (Late Summer / Early Fall)

Begin media and investor outreach; secure meetings before calendars fill — Reporters and investors' schedules are locked by November. Start outreach in the fall to get on their radar

    T-90 (September)

Review exhibitor manual and target freight floorplans; budget for topline rates — Exhibitor manuals typically drop 90–120 days before show open. Freeman rates +3% over 2026; material handling flat

    T-60 (November)

Finalize booth design, graphics, AV, and labor orders; book hotels and travel — 2–3 months out — booth design, graphics, AV, and labor orders should be finalized. Book flights and hotels through onPeak

    T-30

Submit EAC (Exhibitor Appointed Contractor) registration; order utilities through CES portal — EAC registration opens in fall. Coordinate shipping and drayage 3–6 months before show

    T-14 (Late December)

Confirm shipping schedules, demo equipment, and on-site staffing plan — Confirm all freight shipments and target move-in dates. Coordinate team schedule and booth assignments

    T-7 (December 30 – January 3)

Final pre-show marketing push; schedule social media posts; download CES App — Post about your CES presence on LinkedIn, Twitter, and via email. Pre-build your show schedule in the CES App

    T-1 (January 5)

On-site badge pickup (if not collected remotely); booth setup and final walkthrough — Badge pickup requires government-issued photo ID and registration confirmation. All crates must be empty and labeled for removal by 1 PM

    Decision

    Visit, exhibit, or skip?

    Should you go?

Answer 8 questions about your goals, budget, and readiness to find out whether you should visit, exhibit, or skip CES 2027. Each answer contributes points toward each decision — we'll tally them and give you a verdict

    QUESTION 1 OF 8

What is your primary role in the technology ecosystem?

    Decision matrix

Compare participation options side by side to choose the best fit for your objectives.

    visit

You are evaluating partnerships, seeking inspiration, or have a modest budget but high interest in emerging tech. You do not have a commercial product ready to launch, but you want to learn and connect

    Best for

Technology buyers, executives, product managers, investors, analysts, and service providers who want to scout innovations, gain market intelligence, and network without the cost and complexity of exhibiting

    Min. budget

    $2,500.00

    Timeline

1–2 months for registration, travel booking, and scheduling meetings; can be shorter if local

    Risks

High travel and accommodation costs during CES week

Walking fatigue and information overload due to show scale

Difficulty securing hotel and flights at last minute

Limited access to conference sessions without Premium Pass

    exhibit

You have a product launch or major announcement, your target audience attends CES, you have a strong team to engage visitors, and you have budget and planning time to do it properly

    Best for

Tech companies of all sizes — from startups to Fortune 500 — with a market-ready product, a clear go-to-market message, and budget to invest in a booth, staff, and marketing. Especially valuable for those targeting global buyers, media, and investors

    Min. budget

    $15,000.00

    Timeline

3–6 months for booth design, shipping, staff training, and promotion. Early bird registration and hotel booking save costs

    Risks

Significant upfront investment with uncertain ROI

Logistical complexity of shipping, customs, and booth setup

    Intense competition for attendee attention

Staff fatigue and high pressure during the show

    skip

Your product is still in R&D, your budget is very tight, or you can achieve your business goals through digital channels and smaller events. Revisit for future editions

    Best for

Companies or individuals with low alignment to CES core themes, limited budget, or early-stage products that are not ready for prime time. Also suitable for those whose primary market is local/regional and not global

    Timeline

    N/A — no commitment required

    Risks

Missing out on industry trends and networking

Losing competitive visibility if competitors exhibit

    Delayed market feedback
