    Edition recap

BouwBeurs 2025, organized by Royal Jaarbeurs, once again proved itself to be the largest construction event in the Netherlands. The trade fair attracted over 63,600 construction professionals. The official opening was performed by Mona Keijzer, Minister of Housing and Spatial Planning, whose speech underlined the importance of innovation and cooperation in the construction sector. Spread across six exhibition halls, visitors discovered the latest innovations from more than 600 exhibitors. Under the theme 'Heart for Construction,' bio-based construction, circularity, digitalization and industrialization took center stage. BouwBeurs 2025 not only brought the construction industry together physically, but also set the sector in motion in terms of content.

Trade fair manager Joyce van de Hoef looked back with pride: 'It was a fantastic week full of groundbreaking innovations and inspiring discussions with entrepreneurs, construction professionals and manufacturers. We discussed current themes that concern the construction industry, from circular construction and the nitrogen crisis to energy challenges and the shared ambition to be carbon neutral by 2050.'

Exhibitors and visitors were unanimously enthusiastic. Exhibitor Frank de Langhe of Fundermax GmbH said: 'We had a very good experience. Our customers are enthusiastic and we only get positive feedback from architects and contractors. As far as we are concerned, we will definitely participate again in 2027.' Exhibitor Sanne Wentzel of Rheinzink also looked back positively: 'Our target group was well represented. This is the opportunity to speak to them face-to-face, show our products and share knowledge.' Visitors especially appreciated the clear division of the fair into different themes.

    Netherlands / Western Europe

    Why it matters

BouwBeurs 2027 matters because it arrives at a pivotal moment for the Dutch construction sector. With the government aiming to build 100,000 homes annually and the industry grappling with labour shortages, nitrogen rules, grid congestion, and the urgent need for circularity, the fair serves as the central platform where solutions are showcased, debated, and forged. It brings together the entire construction chain – developers, architects, contractors, consultants, and suppliers – to accelerate the transition toward a more sustainable, digital, and resilient built environment. Digitalisation, industrialisation, circularity and new forms of collaboration are transforming the way we develop, design, build and improve the built environment. For buyers, it is the most efficient way to discover new products and technologies; for exhibitors, it is the strategic stage to build relationships and position themselves in a changing market. No other event in the Netherlands offers this depth of access to decision‑makers across the full spectrum of construction

Outcome depends on quality of pre‑show marketing and on‑stand engagement

    skip

Your market focus is outside the Netherlands, your budget is constrained, or you have already secured the partnerships and information you need without attending
