Archaeology Roadshow 2026
The Archaeology Roadshow 2026 is a free, family-friendly event series focused on 'The Archaeology of Fire & Water' with multiple locations across Oregon. The main Portland event occurs on May 30, 2026 at Gateway Discovery Park, featuring exhibits, hands-on activities, and artifact identification by experts from universities, tribes, agencies, and organizations. Additional events are scheduled in Bend (June 6) and Hines (June 27). The event is organized by Portland State University's Anthropology Department and supported by numerous sponsors including museums, cultural coalitions, and archaeological societies.
