DWTC and Za'abeel Halls 4-6 are fully accessible for people with disabilities. Wheelchairs are available free of charge from Information Desks and can be rented at the venue. All public entrances allow wheelchair access via low-gradient ramps and automatic doors. Elevator control panels are at wheelchair-accessible heights with Braille buttons. Over 75 accessible toilets are located throughout the venue. Accessible parking bays are available in key car parks including Happiness Street Parking.
Prayer rooms
Prayer rooms are available for males and females on the 2nd floor of Sheikh Rashid Hall. Additional prayer rooms are located throughout the venue, including female prayer room at Concourse 2, Level 2, opposite Hall 7; male prayer room at Concourse 2, Level 2, opposite Hall 5; and female prayer room at Za'abeel Concourse 2. Accessible from the main concourse areas.
Cloakroom
Cloakroom services are available near the main entrance of Za'abeel Halls 4-6. However, some events at DWTC have noted that due to security policies, cloakroom facilities may not be available; attendees are advised to check event-specific communications.
Charging points
EV charging bays are available in several DWTC car parks, including Happiness Street Parking (3,715 spaces including EV, accessible and bicycle bays), the multi-storey car park next to Novotel Hotel, Sheikh Rashid Tower parking, and One Central parking. DEWA and Dubai Taxi Company have inaugurated an ultra-fast charging hub with 24 charging points (360 kW capacity) capable of charging 24 vehicles simultaneously in about 35 minutes.

Free shuttle buses operate at DWTC during major events. Car Park Shuttle Bus Route connects Car Parks B, C, and D with venue entrances. RTA Shuttle Bus Route C045 (AED 4.00 with NOL card) picks up at Convention Gate and stops at Crown Plaza, French Connection, Al Murooj Rotana, and Dusit Dubai. Inter-venue shuttle buses may operate between DWTC and Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) during certain events.

Annual (2nd Edition in 2026)
International photography competition organised annually by AccessAbilities Expo in collaboration with the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA). The 2026 edition drew 924 photographers from 78 countries (up 31%) and 1,755 entries (up 26%) versus the inaugural edition. It has two tracks: an international category open to professional and amateur photographers, and a local category for photographers visiting the 8th AccessAbilities Expo. Local entries are accepted during the three show days and close at 12:00 noon on 21 October 2026, with winners announced and awarded before the Expo ends. International winners are expected in early October. Three prizes per theme, with cash prizes and HIPA certificates, and a dedicated pavilion at the Expo displays winning photographs.

AccessAbilities Expo 2025, the seventh edition, ran from 6 to 8 October 2025 at Dubai World Trade Centre. The official post-show recap reports approximately 270 companies, brands and specialized centers from 50 countries and approximately 17,000 visitors from 70 countries. Organisers reported an 8% increase in visitors compared with the sixth edition and a 12% increase in participating companies compared with 2024.
The edition showcased advanced assistive technologies, innovative products and AI-driven systems supporting people with auditory, visual, motor and sensory disabilities. Participating companies reported encouraging buyer and trade-visitor response, while multiple collaboration, joint-venture and product-development agreements were signed.
Major programme elements included the International Deaf Forum Empowerment and Partnership, the 5th International Conference on Accessible Tourism and the second Applied Behavior Analysis for Autism conference. The UAE accepts ATA Carnets for trade fairs and exhibitions, including goods for trade shows, meetings, or similar events. The UAE became the 69th country to join the ATA Carnet system on 1 April 2011. ATA Carnet procedures apply without raising bonds or paying customs duty and taxes or completing normal customs procedures. Temporary admission duration is 6 months or until the validity of the ATA Carnet, whichever is lesser. Extending beyond 6 months requires contacting UAE customs prior to the final date of re-exportation. The UAE does not allow partial or split shipments; any shipment entering the UAE must be re-exported in its entirety. The UAE does not accept replacement carnets. A regularization fee of up to AED 5,000 may apply for failure to present carnets for validation upon re-exportation or failure to notify customs of diversion to permanent entry. After-hours carnet validations incur a fee of AED 150. The UAE restricts carnets to goods for trade fairs and exhibitions only.

The Dubai World Trade Centre metro station (Station 22) on the Red Line is directly connected to the venue, with trains running every 7 minutes and a 2-minute walk from station to halls. The Red Line provides direct access to Dubai International Airport (Terminals 1 and 3), Downtown Dubai (Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall), Dubai Marina, and major business districts. Taxis and ride-hailing (Careem, Uber) are readily available, with designated drop-off points at Trade Centre Arena, opposite Ibis Hotel, and at the Za'abeel Hall entrance. Bus route 29 stops at the Novotel Hotel stop outside Convention Gate. RTA shuttle bus route C045 connects DWTC with surrounding hotels. Prayer Times and Religious Observance
Muslims pray five times daily, and the call to prayer is audible across the city. Prayer rooms are available at DWTC for both men and women.
