METRORail Red Line

The Red Line is the fastest and cheapest way to reach NRG Park, running directly to Stadium Park/Astrodome station, just a short walk from the gates. Trains run every 6-12 minutes. Board at any Red Line stop along Main Street through downtown Houston. Ride from downtown takes approximately 20-27 minutes. All METRORail vehicles are ADA accessible with reserved wheelchair spaces and equipped with video surveillance. Free transfers between rail and local bus within three hours. METRO Local Bus

Three METRO bus routes stop within walking distance of NRG Park. Route 14 Hiram Clarke runs every 15-20 minutes, Route 60 Cambridge every 40 minutes, and Route 84 Buffalo Speedway every 30 minutes. Transfers are available at many city street intersections and select METRO transit centers. All METRO buses are ADA accessible, offer free Wi-Fi and come equipped with video surveillance cameras. (

Complimentary Accessible Shuttle

Provided by NRG Center, complimentary accessible shuttle service serves official Abilities Expo hotels. Each shuttle accommodates up to 20 people and two wheelchairs, running continuously one hour before the expo starts through the end of the show each day. Fannin South Park & Ride

Located at 1604 West Bellfort Ave, Houston, TX 77054. Pay $25 to park and ride during most special events; every passenger receives a round-trip wristband. From Fannin South it is one stop to Stadium Park/Astrodome station. Cash is not accepted at parking gates. (

Taxi / Rideshare (Uber, Lyft)

Uber and Lyft operate throughout Houston. Drop-off and pickup zones are available at NRG Park. From Hobby Airport (HOU), taxi fare to NRG Center is approximately $22 for standard class. From IAH, fare is approximately $34 for standard class. From Galleria area, base rates run $25-35 in light traffic, but surge pricing can multiply this by 2-4x during peak event periods. Lyft is typically $1-4 cheaper than Uber on comparable routes in Houston. Allow extra time during peak arrival and departure periods. METRO Route 500 Downtown Direct (Airport Bus)

METRO Route 500 Downtown Direct connects both IAH and Hobby airports to downtown Houston, running roughly every 30 minutes between about 5 AM and 9 PM. Onsite Parking at NRG Center

Parking rate is $25 + tax per space at the gate, subject to change without notice. No in-and-out access. Cash is not accepted at NRG Center parking gates; electronic or card payment required. Accessible parking is available in the Red Lot, Zone 4 on a first-come, first-served basis for vehicles with proper state-issued placard or license plate. Houston BCycle (Bike Share)

Houston BCycle is a nonprofit-operated public bicycle-sharing system with 150+ stations throughout Houston, designed to promote sustainable transportation and recreation.
