Key trends shaping this market and its wider industry.

    01

AI moves from pilot projects to deep embedding and scale-up

In 2026, AI in the education field will move from the 'pilot' stage to the expected standard. Each district will introduce clearer privacy rules, approval channels and restrictions on classroom mobile phone use. Educators will increasingly prioritize teaching methods that incorporate immersive deep learning, evidence-based reasoning, and real-world applications. AI-driven adaptive learning and personalized education have become the core driving force for market growth.

    Source
    02

EdTech procurement shifts to integrated experience and platform

School districts will no longer view 'high-quality instructional materials' and 'high-quality professional development' as separate checkboxes, but will start investing in 'high-quality instructional experiences.' Procurement is expected to shift toward an integrated experience: teachers are equipped, trained, and supported to make better instructional decisions in real classrooms. Suppliers that fail to unify resources and practices into a coherent experience will be under pressure to demonstrate impact.
